The trouble with Japanese gravure models is that, fantastically proportioned and ripe for porn as they are, as a rule they never go beyond Maxim-style cheesecake and shed their undersized bikinis.

Which is what makes model/actress Sora Aoi’s place in Japanese society all the more assured. Discovered by a gravure talent scout while in her third year of high school, Sora has the giant rack and ingenue face of other gravure models, but had done with gravure bikini-teasing early on and went straight into adult entertainment.
